HISASHI OUCHI'S STORY

On September 30, 1999, a horrific accident occurred at the Tokaimura Nuclear Power Plant in Japan. Hisashi Ouchi, a young nuclear technician, while carrying out maintenance on a fuel storage facility, suffered from a fatal dose of radiation. The severity of the exposure was immediate and catastrophic. Ouchi's body began to deteriorate immediately.
